Math Facts & Number Fluency

Quick-recall drills for the facts that show up everywhere on the GED — times tables, squares, roots, and common fraction–decimal–percent values.

Why This Page Is Different

Most pages on this site teach you how to solve GED-style problems. This one does not. The questions here are not GED-level problems — they are short, fast drills that build number fluency and automatic recall of common math facts.

The GED rarely asks you to recite a multiplication table, a square root, an equivalent fraction, or a common percentage on its own. But knowing these facts from memory makes a huge number of GED questions faster and easier — you stop burning time and energy on arithmetic you could simply recall.

The goal of this page is to help you:

  • Memorize and recognize common math facts that appear again and again throughout GED math.
  • Build automaticity — repeated practice turns these facts into instant recall, which cuts down mistakes.
  • Grow your confidence and number sense so harder problems feel less intimidating.
The emphasis here is speed, recognition, memorization, and number sense — not multi-step problem solving. Answer as many as you like in each bank; the questions reshuffle endlessly.
